His Holiness the Fourteenth Dalai Lama, Tenzin Gyatso, is a world-renown spiritual leader who has been working for world peace for decades. He is seen by many people as the spiritual leader of Tibet and the Tibetan Government-in-Exile. He has been awarded hundreds of awards including the Nobel Peace Prize in 1989 and the Congressional Gold Medal in 2007.
