Peace Corps

MISSION

Peace Corps was established in 1961 by Executive Order of United States President John F. Kennedy to promote world peace and friendship. It's mission, three simple goals, is now famous:
  1. Helping the people of interested countries in meeting their need for trained men and women.
  2. Helping promote a better understanding of Americans on the part of the peoples served.
  3. Helping promote a better understanding of other peoples on the part of Americans.
Many of our projects of the Advance Humanity Foundation involve the work of Peace Corps Volunteers around the world.

FEATURED PROJECT

Peace Corps Merit Badges is a service project that provides a fun and meaningful way for Volunteers to help improve their host country, find humor in and deepen their Peace Corps service, and share their unique experiences with fellow Volunteers, family and friends back home. The leadership team, led by Peace Corps Volunteers, is committed to their goals, providing strong leadership and seeking ways to expand the project for the good of all people.
